- Get you to start thinking and seeing through the eyes of a geologist - observational skills are vital to a deep appreciation of this planet!
- Introduce you to some of the more common "rock forming" minerals
Instructions
- Look through 3D models to observe different visible mineral properties such as the presence or absence of cleavage planes and luster
- Use online resources to fill in other properties: chemical formulas, Moh's hardness, and other properties (i.e., magnetic)
