Hi! I am Miles Reed. I am currently a PhD candidate at UW-Madison Geoscience in the Ferrier Research Group studying to be a geomorphologist. The subtle beauty of the rivers and slopes of my native West Virginia, especially the New River Gorge area, made me want understand how landscapes came to be.
I am mainly interested in soil-mantled hillslopes, anthropogenic landscape alteration, landscape evolution model, and cosmogenic nuclides. Check out my research page.
